Requirements:
- Registration with HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist
- Post-doctoral training in a specialized area of psychological practice
- At least 6 years of experience as a qualified practitioner psychologist, with 4 years at a highly specialized level
- Experience in multidisciplinary teamwork and clinical leadership
- Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Office programs

About the Role:
The Band 8C Intensive Care Psychologist will lead and develop a team within the Trust’s values, providing highly specialized psychological assessments and interventions in a clinical health setting. This role demands a high degree of professionalism and the ability to manage complex cases, often in highly emotional and challenging environments. The psychologist will be responsible for supervising junior staff, contributing to service development, and engaging in multidisciplinary team activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of psychologists in delivering high-quality care
- Provide specialist psychotherapeutic assessments and treatments
- Supervise and mentor junior psychologists
