Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience with Azure SQL
- Proficiency in T-SQL programming and stored procedures
- Experience in Azure SQL (managed instances and databases) provisioning, configuration, and management
- Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery solutions for Azure SQL databases
- Experience with data lakes and warehousing
- Automation of database administration tasks using Azure Automation and/or PowerShell
- Familiarity with backup and recovery processes, including point-in-time recovery
- Secure databases with appropriate access controls, encryption, and auditing practices
- Ability to create advanced reports using Power BI
- UK resident or valid UK work authorization (Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate)

About the Role
The Database Administrator at Ruleguard will manage, optimize, and secure critical databases in both on-premises and Microsoft Azure cloud environments. This role is crucial in ensuring the performance, scalability, and availability of databases, thereby ensuring a seamless experience for clients using the Ruleguard platform. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a strong technical background and a passion for delivering excellent solutions.
