Requirements
- Previous experience of care work is essential
- Resilience and adaptability for lone working and team collaboration
- Some personal care and administration of medicine may be required (Full training provided)
- Aged 18 and above
- Willing to undertake a DBS Check (initial cost covered by halow)
- Full driving license with access to a car is desirable

About the Role
Senior Support Workers at the halow project play a vital role in nurturing independence in adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities. They provide high-quality support to young adults, helping to plan their day-to-day lives and achieve their goals. This includes offering encouragement and support with household chores, physical wellbeing, and social activities. Additionally, Senior Support Workers support House Managers in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Supported Living houses, identifying meaningful opportunities for supported adults, providing training, offering advice to Support Workers, communicating with stakeholders, and maintaining clear and up-to-date records.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check
Willingness to undertake a DBS Check. The initial cost of the DBS application will be paid for by halow.
Certificate of Sponsorship
Visa sponsorship is available for candidates already living within the UK. Sponsorship of new employees will initially be issued for a period of 18 months.
