Main Duties of the Job

• Support technical Microbiology activities within a high-paced department serving multiple NHS trusts.
• Direct involvement in testing samples, including handling human samples such as urine, faeces, and swabs.
• Reception, data input, and autoclaving of samples and waste.
• Cleaning of equipment and general laboratory duties.
• Lifting and moving moderately heavy loads.

Requirements

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

• Previous Microbiology laboratory experience is desirable but not essential.
