Requirements:
- Recognized supervisory qualification
- NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery or equivalent
- Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a large kitchen
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and food safety

About the Role:
The Team Leader Chef at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust will oversee the preparation and cooking of meals to a high standard for both patients and restaurant services. Key Responsibilities:
- Organize meal preparation and cooking for various service areas, including special diets and functions
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and cooking procedures
- Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling and training
- Monitor food quality and presentation
- Handle client feedback and complaints
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Participate in staff appraisals and training
