Requirements
- Level 3 Health related qualification
- Level 2 in numeracy and literacy (or equivalent)
- Completed Care Certificate (we need proof of both theory and practical elements)
- Experience working in a Health and Social Care setting in a Band 2 role or equivalent
- Stellar communication and people skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and handle pressure

About the Role
As a Clinical Support Worker, you’ll be a crucial cog in the nursing team machine, providing holistic, patient-centered care. Your day-to-day will involve a range of core clinical skills such as venepuncture, swabbing, and skin assessments, depending on where you’re placed.
You’ll be on the front lines of delivering safe and effective care, always staying true to the Trust’s values and behaviors. This isn’t just a job – it’s a chance to make a real difference in people’s lives while taking your healthcare career to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on patient care, including helping with personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
- Carry out clinical tasks like taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and conducting basic health checks
- Be a right-hand person to registered nurses and other healthcare pros during various procedures
- Keep patient records spotless and flag any changes in patient condition
- Keep the environment spick and span for patients and colleagues alike
