Requirements
- Qualifications: MBBS, CCT or CESR in Forensic or WAA psychiatry, or inclusion on the GMC specialist register within the next 6 months.

About the Role
This Consultant Psychiatrist role in Forensic Psychiatry involves providing clinical leadership on a male low secure ward. The successful candidate will manage acute mental illness, risk, and pathway decisions for up to 12 inpatients. Responsibilities also include teaching, training, and supervising junior staff, participating in the on-call rota, and contributing to system-based improvements in patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care and leadership for male inpatients on a low secure ward.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage pathways, including potential discharges.
- Supervise and train junior medical staff.
- Participate in on-call duties as part of the general adult psychiatry rota.
