    Job Description

    Admiral Money is seeking a motivated Customer Accounts Representative to manage financial controls, cash reporting, and daily money movements within the business. The role includes administering payments, handling bank reconciliations, and providing key financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in bank reconciliation processes, a solid understanding of BACS, and experience in a customer accounts team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage payment administration within the Loans System, including chargebacks and indemnities.
    • Review and authorize payment and collection files.
    • Resolve payment issues and support the Loans Servicing and Collections teams.
    • Perform daily bank reconciliation across multiple accounts.
    • Support daily and monthly financial reporting cycles.
    • Improve procedures and streamline processes.
    • Manage and reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy in the general ledger.
    • Conduct workshops with customer-facing staff to enhance their knowledge.
    • Post suspense items daily and address account actions as needed.
    • Provide key financial information to stakeholders on payment performance.
    • Action final write-offs following approval.
    • Liaise with third-party companies to ensure correct payments are received.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Experience with bank reconciliation processes and BACS.
    • Previous experience in a customer accounts role.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders and across teams.
