Requirements

• Nursery Nursing qualification such as CACHE Diploma in Child Care and Education, NVQ Level 3
• Good knowledge of the EYFS Framework
• Ability to build positive and meaningful relationships with young children

About the Role

The Early Years Assistant will join the dynamic and growing Little Griffins Nursery. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in planning across different age groups, build positive relationships within their highly skilled team, and support in expanding the nursery, including the planned opening to two-year-olds in the next academic year.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, friendly, stimulating environment for pupils
• Offer exciting, interesting learning opportunities
• Create a stimulating, productive learning environment
• Follow the EYFS Framework to promote development
• Support with weekly planning
• Assist in reviewing schemes of work
• Assess and record pupils’ progress with supervision
• Liaise with the Nursery Lead and SEND Teacher regarding specific needs
