6-month Procurement Analyst position with leading FTSE250 business

They are recruiting for an exciting Procurement Analyst role for a leading professional services firm in Central London. This organisation has a newly created/greenfield procurement function which is in the growth phase, aiming to go from 1 to 4 heads in the next few months. The Procurement Director has been brought in to address the organisation’s spend areas covering anything from IT, networks, HR, professional services, facilities etc., with a large focus on technology.

Your new role
As the Procurement Analyst, you will assist the procurement function in executing the procurement plans and strategies. This will involve analysing spend areas and categories of spend, clarifying budget requirements as well as obtaining sustainability data across your suppliers. This will be much needed in order for this organisation to hit their cost-savings targets. As well as the analytics, you will also be supporting supplier onboarding and due diligence checks. If you have the experience, you will also support RFI processes, tender processes, supplier queries, and low value contract renewals.

Requirements

• Strong communicator
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Able to get into their London office twice per week
• Willing to take on a 6-month fixed-term contract
