About the Role The Health Care Support Worker in Stroke Rehabilitation provides essential support to patients recovering from strokes. Working in a 16-bedded unit, this role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care, ensuring the highest standards of rehabilitation. Duties include supporting nursing staff, assisting with therapy sessions, and maintaining a high level of compassion and respect for patients. This role also offers ongoing training, including the Stroke Foundation Program and specific stroke competencies.
