Requirements
- Qualifications: Must hold or be willing to undertake a Level 3 teaching qualification (e.g., Certificate in Education). Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE A-C) are required, with a willingness to achieve these if not already held.
- Experience: Proven ability to engage with learners and support high-quality learning outcomes. Experience in teaching or facilitating Level 3 Business courses to adults is essential.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.

About the Role
The FE Sessional Lecturer in Business will be responsible for teaching Level 3 Business courses at the Kedleston Road campus. This role involves preparing lesson plans, delivering engaging content, assessing student progress, and maintaining accurate records. The lecturer will contribute to the personal and academic growth of students, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver effective lessons for Level 3 Business students.
- Assess and record student progress regularly.
- Address the personal and social needs of students in the learning environment.
- Maintain accurate administrative records in line with College procedures.
- Ensure student safety and compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Participate in continuing professional development and training activities.
- Contribute to the marketing and promotional activities of the College.
- Attend relevant meetings and comply with safeguarding and equality policies.
