Job Description
Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Addictions Practitioner to join their multi-disciplinary team. This full-time, permanent role (37.5 hours per week) is based across various sites in Leeds.
Responsibilities
Include delivering specialized addiction treatment, psychosocial and pharmacological interventions, harm reduction, and risk management for individuals with co-existing mental health issues and/or pregnancy needs. The role also involves managing a caseload, providing evidence-based psychosocial interventions, and benefiting from extensive training and career development opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist.
- Experience with complex cases involving trauma and addiction.
- Ability to communicate effectively with distressed and challenging service users.
- Full clean driving license.
- Eligible for NHS sponsorship if requiring a visa to work in the UK.

- £35,392 – £42,618 per annum
