Requirements
- MPharm (Masters Degree) and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent experience.
- Specialist clinical knowledge in hepatology and liver transplantation.
- Experience in supervising and training healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

About the Role
This role involves working as a Specialist Pharmacist within the Liver Transplantation team at King’s College Hospital. The successful candidate will provide expert pharmacy services to the liver wards and liver theatres, actively participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds, and deliver patient-focused pharmaceutical care. The role includes leading outpatient clinics and managing the interface between primary and secondary care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deputise for the Principal Pharmacist, Hepatology.
- Lead and manage clinical pharmacy services in the hepatology care group.
- Act as an independent prescriber to optimize patient care.
- Supervise and train pharmacy staff at ward level.
- Participate in clinical research and audit activities.
