Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RNLD/RNMH)
- Demonstrated passion for working with individuals with learning disabilities
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- Ability to provide high-quality nursing care
- Experience in coordinating shifts or being the nurse in charge

About the Role
The role involves working with individuals who have learning disabilities, providing high-quality care in a planned care service. This includes managing behavioral needs, complex health requirements, and various clinical skills such as enteral feeding, tracheostomy care, and more. The position requires a strong interest in learning new skills and delivering exceptional care across both units: Complex Health Service (2 Woodland Square) and Challenging Behaviour Service (3 Woodland Square).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for service users with learning disabilities
- Conduct behavior assessments and develop intervention plans
- Manage medication changes and physical health observations
- Support with various clinical skills and health requirements
- Collaborate with community services and external providers
Additional Details
The role requires working across a 7-day period, including weekends, bank holidays, and nights. Successful applicants will undergo a detailed induction and receive ongoing clinical and managerial supervision.
